So this was my first experience doing an river kayaking, and the "white water" on Paint Creek was rather tame. Most of the 5 miles was calm, flat and easy. However, at the end we did hit a class 2 rapid which was pretty fun. Although the pictures look tame, when you are in the middle of the water it can be rather intense. We did the section 3 times, and I made it through once without having to bail out! For me, that is a success.

BTW - in the pics, I'm in the red kayak; Andy (the experienced one) is in the dark blue.
