One morning in Maine...

This morning Kellye and I went out kayaking on Long Pond, on Mt. Desert Island. We rented a double kayak, and left around 9:30am. We paddled for about an hour, and then found a nice rock in between two small mountains. We got out of the boat, sat and read for awhile, and prayed for the people we care about. As we were finishing, a bald eagle flew overhead.
It was a nice moment, a peaceful morning, and a blessing to be in nature for a few hours.

thanks for updating this with pics and video (although the video is not working?) Even though we are on opposite ends of the continent, I feel close to you!
Yeah, we are about as far away as possible (within the US) right now, huh? :)
The vid is working for me.....but it's nothing spectacular. don't worry about it - miss you - love you! We gotta catch up on the phone sometime
