A huge storm just rolled through - thunder, lightning, rain, tornado warnings and all. But now, the sun is breaking through, the birds are singing, and the sky is beautiful. They say that if you don't like the weather in Ohio, stick around 5 minutes and it will change.

I'm contemplating how quickly things can change in our own lives too. Tragedy and fortune can come at any time. What keeps us grounded, focused? Looking ahead? Looking back? Or the ones who are with us, by our side, going through the changes together?

They also say that as much as things change, things stay the same. Faith, hope and love - these three will always remain.

I don't want to "get through" the changes in my life. I want to experience, live and embrace them as part of the journey, always holding on to faith, hope and love.
