A Song for Japan
Tweet
The earthquake that hit Japan this past weekend is beyond comprehension. The last few days, I've been receiving updates from my aunt, Ruth Harimoto, who lives in Tokyo with her husband and teenage son. They are safe and making it through each day. I am sure they are doing all they can to help the people around them. When I emailed Ruth and told her I was praying for them, she sent this song to me. She said it was recorded by the youth group at their church, and is a song praying for God's heart to be poured out upon Japan. The youth pastor asked that it be used as a prayer for the people and the country of Japan. It is powerful to think of the people singing the song, the people suffering right now, the real people with real names and faces that go beyond the news reels and footage. These people are praying and crying out in a difficult situation. This song is a way for our hearts to connect with theirs.
